I was sent the Solavie Desert Hair and Body wash and the Hair Nourish/Style to try. I loved the light scent. It was a light clean scent and not overpowering which was great for me. And it made my hair feel clean, soft and manageable so it's a fabulous product! I'm sure the results would be just as great for the other environments as well.

Solavie is the Earth's first eco-global skin/hair care system designed to bring your skin and hair in balance with nature around you so that you look and feel your best. Solavie has no outer packaging so there is no paper waste and the compact bottle designed to snap together is great for travel and you don't have to worry about spilling inside your travel case. Solavie's double concentrated formulas are made from all natural ingredients using native plant phyto-nutrients and even the bottles are made from 100% re-used or recyclable materials. You can't beat an eco-friendly company like Solavie! Solavie also shows global responsibility in supporting 3rd world handicrafts and much of it's profits are donated to sustainable charities through Solavie Second Nature Foundation.

Now you can win your own Solavie Dessert Hair/Body duo right here on Babasfarmlife. To enter just visit Solavie and come back to comment on one other thing you found out about the company or it's products. This must be done first before any other entries.

Interior Design

When designing the interior of your home not all of us get the chance to work with a Famous Interior Designer. But for those who live in the south of Florida there is a great chance that you have seen much of the Contemporary Interior Design style work in many of the finest establishments done by J. Design Group.

Weather you're looking to design an exquisite office space, a lovely home, an upscale restaurant, or any other interior, you'll want to work with the best professionals and The Best Interior Designers that you can. Though Modern Contemporary Design does not fit the style of The Stone House that we're remodeling, I still find much of this design element catches my eye. For Commercial or Residential Design you'll want the best in Southern Florida, and the best is J.Design Group. They have worked with Sandals Resorts and Latin Billboard Awards just to name a few, so you know you're getting the best design consultation available. Don't hesitate to contact them about your interior design needs.

I'm An Ugly Conglomeration

When I first arrived at these peoples home I was spanking new and beautiful. I was all put together and top of the line. Now I am dirty, dusty, and put together with parts from companies all over the place. I'm not even sure you could call me a Dell any longer. Sure that's what it says on my shell, but I now have a logitech mouse, an emachines keyboard, and that's just on the outside. They've changed some inside parts too! They even hide the main part of me under the desk! They say it's to make room, but I thinks it's because they just want to hide me away. You'd think if these people wanted to upgrade me they would at least get me a pretty flatscreen! Geesh!

At least once a week I hear "Power, I need more Power", or " Memory, I need more memory" These people are never satisfied. I go through part changes nearly as often as they watch a movie at the theater. Of course it's not all my fault. These people stuff me with photos like there is no tomorrow and want to have 20 windows open at once. I can only do so much, you know! Yes, I know I'm about 7 years old, and I am thankful that I do get touched every day, but could they please eat elsewhere! Sticky fingers, or greasy fingers just feel yucky!

I'm dreaming every night when they shut me down that I am an HP Pavilion Elite e9150t series with with an HP w2338h 23-inch Diagonal 16:9 Full HD Widescreen Monitor. So sleek and stylish and talk about enough power! Power to blow even the hottest hit film out of the theater and into the home! Not to mention all the latest in accessibility and performance features.

Now is the best time to take advantage of HP deals with their $30 off orders $150 or greater at HP Home Store. This is a $30 stackable site wide coupon. Just use coupon code SV2132. Valid through 10/31 or while supplies last. Restrictions and exclusions apply.

Maybe my owners will take advantage of this and my dream will come true!

Blogoversary 1 Year - Giveaway #1

It's hard to believe that on September 8th I will have been blogging for one full year. To help me celebrate I have lined up some great giveaways for all my readers who I truly appreciate! Just a little thank you to say "I (heart) You"!

My first giveaway this month comes from a well known company. Binaca who has helped keep breath fresh for decades. But now Binaca has something new and it isn't your mother's Binaca drops that we're all familiar with. Now Binaca has Binaca FastBlast and Binaca Breath Freshener Aerosol Spray to chose from.

I was sent some to try out and I really love this new Fast Blast and Aerosol Sprays! The peppermint is my favorite, and it also comes in Spearmint and Cinnamon so there is one for everyone's taste. Not to mention that it fits so easily in your purse and doesn't get lost in all the mix. The Binaca FastBlast single pack is good for 300 spritzes and retails for $2.49; The FastBlast twin pack contains 600 spritzes total and retails for $3.49; or you can get the FastBlast mini good for 150 spritzes for only $1.00!

The Binaca Aerosol Breath Freshener gives 150 sprays for a cost of $1.99; or you can get the Triple Pack in Spearmint or Peppermint which gives 450 sprays for $3.59. Both are a great bargain when it comes to having fresh breath.

With two teens starting school this past couple weeks, it was nice to give them some Binaca to make sure they had fresh breath. Let's face it, when the kids are teenagers they like to kiss. You know sometime between the ages of 14 and 18 they are bound to have their first kiss. Though as Moms and Grandmas we may not approve of the when, or how, at least there is help with Binaca's Kissing 101 Do's and Don'ts so they can learn to be the best kisser. Hey this is for everyone not just teens.

* Don't let bad breath spoil the moment- use a spritz of Binaca FastBlast
* Do get into a comfortable position, you don't want to be squirming around to readjust positions mid kiss.
* Do make it short and sweet with a dollop of passion. Start slowly, gently, and with lips slightly parted.
* Do pay attention to clues from your partner, you'll know when to go in for a deeper smooch or hold off.
* Don't answer your phone or text, or be looking around when you are kissing, Pay attention!
* Don't Smoke, you don't want to taste like an ashtray.
* Don't use medicinal tasting mouthwash or sprays. These can be just as offensive as bad breath. Use Binaca Aerosol Breath Freshener in Spearmint or Peppermint for a quick freshup.
* Do make sure the lips are moisterized.
* Do touch the other person, gently, not just with the lips. It's ok to hold them.
* Don't forget the end is just as important as the beginning of the kiss. Pause before withdrawing and keep eye contact.

For teens I would just add one more: * Ask permission of your partner. You don't want any misunderstandings.

Are you ready to try this fabulous new Binaca for yourself? You know there are dances and parties coming up. I get to give away 5 four packs of Binaca which includes 2 Binaca FastBlast and 2 Binaca Aerosol Sprays. That's right - 5 Winners!

To enter just tell me in a comment one time you or your teen might use Binaca. It's that simple.

The Stone House - Goat Shelter

Hubby and I spent yesterday working on the fencing and shelter for the goats at The Stone House. The fencing is all ready except for one large gate now. And we managed to put up two sides of the shelter siding for the goats. One more side to put up and then we'll have the roof to do.

When we were finished with the two sides we walked around and found this small swarm of bees looking to build a nest at the roof edge of the back of the house. We may have to call the local bee keeper to come get them. I'm just not prepared to raise bees too at this point though it may be nice at some future date. I think we have enough animal life to care for right now.

Our two Colorado Blue Spruce that we planted are doing great, but the grasshoppers got to many of the Osage Orange trees that we planted. There are still a few left, maybe 20 or so that are still going strong.
Stay tuned.....
