A Winner Everyday in April!

More and more television programming is going to High Definition and Charter Communications is keeping up with that demand. But more that that, they are currently offering those customers who sign up for services a chance to win a 22" flat screen HDTV every day in April. The contest is open to new customers and those who wish to upgrade their services. Wow! How Cool is that!

If a 22" flat screen HDTV isn't big enough for you, how about the grand prize of a 52" LCD flat screen HDTV, a Home Theater System, and One Year of free Charter Digital Cable Service with HD programming?!

The contest is at their easy to use web site www.Charter.com where you can pick the service bundle of your choice. They not only offer cable services, but internet and phone packages as well. Getting a bundle of services like this is the best way to save lots of money for your home. You can get everything you need all in one place for your internet, phone and cable requirements. I love bundle packages like this!

This isn't the first time that Charter has sponsored great deal packages and giveaways of this nature. They do it all the time. Last month, Charter’s sweepstakes drew more new customers than any online promotion to date. Last year Charter gave away laptops and Xbox 360's and one lucky person drove off with a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid!

And now if a current or new customer orders Cable, High Speed or Telephone online at Charter.com throughout April – they are automatically entered upon installation to win. Blog Advertising is Top Quality For Any Company

If you are a Company looking for a way to get you product seen in today's market place you have to consider the biggest trend now is Blog Advertising. Bloggers are more than willing to help you get your quality product known throughout the world to those who are looking to purchase. No matter what product you produce, there is a blogger who can promote it. Advertising in newspapers, magazines, radio, and television can be extremely costly and with today's economy many companies are looking to reduce that cost to a minimum and who could blame them. Many of those same companies wisely are turning instead to bloggers to promote their product.

Bloggers are generally highly intelligent people who can write up promotions on nearly any product with the correct knowledge of what they are promoting. And for the most part bloggers are honest in their reviews because they value their reputations as much if not more than you do as a Corporation. Bloggers know how easy it is to lose readers and so are honest about anything they write about. They will not feed their readers false information on any product.

So how do you go about getting your product available to bloggers? One of the best ways is through online sources for your Blog Advertising where you can maintain control on what type of blogger you want to promote your product or site. Don't be left behind in the advertising area. Use those you can trust for your Blog Advertising.

Are You Planning a Move Soon?

I read several blog stories lately of people planning to move across the country to set up a new residence. If you are one of those people and are still in the preparation stage, have you thought about where you will get all the boxes? Are they good quality boxes? Do you have to go pick them up yourself? Why not order them online and have them sent right to you. Moving Boxes are easy to get if you know how many rooms you are moving. Just visit the site, click in the number of rooms and you are all set. They even have other supplies if you need them like pads, blankets, tape. All your moving supplies in one location and you don't have to leave the house to pick them up. Talk about a time saver! And they have next day shipping if you are in a time crunch.

I know moving can be a headache but this is one worry that you can check off your list. Make it easy on yourself when you are ready for Moving Boxes.

The Stone House - We Found Some Stone

Driving around looking at all the other stone houses in the area has finally paid off. Not that that was why we were doing it. We were truly interested in seeing all the other stone house and comparing them to ours in the way of style and coloring of stone, and construction methods. Well today hubby came home and told me that he found a stack of stone and asked the owner if he had plans for using them.

The owner who is in his 90's said that at one time he planned to use the stone, but is now too old and that we could have them if we wanted them. It's amazing because they perfectly match our stone in The Stone House. We are thinking of incorporating them into the porch and/or to clad the small addition so that it matches the rest of the house. I am just so thankful to get them. There are so many other things we could do with them too. I'm thinking a base for our mailbox which we still need to put up. Still tons of work to be done. Not sure we will ever be finished. I guess that's what comes with having your own house.

Still Walking

Yep this is day 4 for Walking for a Cause. I joined IZEA and BumbleBeeFoods in their efforts to help support women with breast cancer through BeWellMiles. I have walked a mile every day and plan to continue. That's 4 miles so far at .15 a mile donation which equals to .60 to this great cause.
I will walk a mile every day until the campaign is over to reach my goal of $32.00. Such a simple thing to do to help raise money. Won't you join the effort?

Have You Tried LaraBar?- Giveaway

Never heard of LaraBar? Well meet Lara founder of LaraBar Company which produce nutritious and delicious snack bars for energy and good health. Combine wholesome ingredients such as fruits and nuts to create a food product that's tasty, healthy and convenient.

In the spring of 2000 while hiking in the 10,000 foot peaks of the Colorado Rocky Mountains Laura was struck with the idea of making what would become the LaraBar.

Their Philosophy?

Our Food Philosophy: Simple. Pure. Delicious.™

LÄRABAR firmly believes that the foundation of a healthy mind, body and spirit is derived from what you eat. And what you eat is healthiest and most satisfying when it's in a whole, natural state.

Our company name comes from an ancient belief that food falls into two categories:

BECKONING FOODS
which beckon consumption again and again, sapping the body of energy without any real health benefits, Today, they're called "junk foods."

HUMM FOODS
on the other hand, resonate with energy in a whole, natural state. When consumed, they cause you to feel vibrant and alive.

You can expect an unmistakable urge to humm after every LÄRABAR bar you eat.

Let the humming begin!

LaraBars can be purchased at countless stores in Canada and America. You can find one here. The LaraBar comes in a variety of delicious flavors.

I got to try out the Lemon, Cherry, and Apple Bars. All yummy! I think I like the Cherry Bars the best, no reason, just lovely Cherry goodness. Great for those in-between meal snacks, or after school snacks for the kids. Each bar is made from 100% real food! A combination of fruit, nuts, and spices for a magical flavor that is all natural!

Win It!

One of my readers will have a chance to win 4 bars each of the LaraBar in Lemon, Cherry, and Apple! That's 12 yummy bars to snack on!

Just head over to LaraBar and come back here to tell me your favorite in a comment. Be sure to leave your email address or a way for me to contact you if you are the winner. Enter between now and April 11, 2009. Winner will be selected using Random.org on April 12, 2009. Open ot Canadian and US residents.

Walking For A Cause

Pedometer and instructions for set up.

Me walking in the house. Sorry hubby isn't a photographer.

2004 Steps
I am so excited to tell you about this! I was asked by IZEA and Social Spark to participate in Bumble Bee Foods campaign BeeWell Miles to help support the Breast Cancer Network of Strength. They sent me this nifty pedometer to keep track of all the steps I take during one day. For every mile I walk Bumble Bee Foods will donate $0.15 to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength who provide emotional support to those who can't wait for tomorrow's cure.

So that was my mission; to walk, and walk, and walk some more in my effort to support this campaign. First I had to set up the pedometer with my stride, and weight, because it also can calculate calories burned. Set up was pretty easy to understand with the included directions so it didn't take me long. Then I had to do a test walk to make sure that the sensitivity was ok for my stride pattern to pick up. After that I began walking. I walked inside because I started this at night and it was too dark outside to take a walk. Hubby had put on a DVD and I kept walking in front of the tv while he was watching his movie. But he knew it was for a great cause so it was ok. What a great guy. He even took a picture of me walking.

As you can see in the last picture I walked 2004 steps, which is a bit more than a mile. I wanted to at least do that much. Will you do your part and get active to help this great cause. Take the steps at BeeWell Miles . The promotion runs from April 1, 2009 until October 31, 2009. If I were to walk a mile a day I could raise $32.00. Walking a mile is pretty easy, and I bet most of us do that without even thinking about it, and probably more. I burned 75 calories walking that mile. And I have set a goal to walk a mile a day. I'll keep you posted at how well I am doing.

Fashion Sense Abounds

I tend to be pretty simplistic in my day to day attire, but there are certain elements that I look for when shopping for women's clothing for myself. I love styles that are versatile and can go from office to dinner lounge and home and still look great and appropriate. I don't want to buy an article of clothing and have it sit in my closet unworn for a year. I tend to look for classic lines and color coordinate with what I already own. This way my wardrobe stays fresh. I found that the best place to shop for clothing when I need something new is Sears.

At Sears you'll find up to date fashion style in quality brand name clothing at the best prices. I have always managed to find just what I was looking for. I love this R & K Originals Black and White Menswear Piped Jacket Pant Set. The Mandarin collar looks comfortable and the contrasting trim on the shell is so stylish. I could mix and match each of these pieces with what I already own. See why I love shopping at Sears?

Right Now Sears is offering 75% - 80% off original prices on Fall and Winter Apparel from now until April 18th. You don't want to miss out on the bargains you'll find to spruce up your wardrobe. Go take a look now, you'll be glad you did at savings like this!Click Here

The Stone House - Inspections

Waiting for an inspection. Arggghhh. How long does this take. I haven't heard back from the inspector yet. Sent an email requesting an inspection. I know we live a long ways away from his location, but you would think he would at least reply. Off to send another email and probably phone him as well.

Home Depot Rents Tools!

Now here is something I could really use. Home Construction & Improvement has teamed up with Home Depot to give away a $200 Gift Card to Home Depot Tool Rental Centers. With our Stone House Project this is something I could really use. I'm thinking may scaffolding to put up dry wall on the ceilings. Or something to help lift that heavy concrete we need to move. Hubby already owns a lot of construction tools so there isn't too much we would have to rent. But this would be a life saver for those that he doesn't yet own himself. I know you're thinking how does an artist, fireman have construction tool? Well, he worked construction at one time. Framing, Dry wall, cabinetry, roofing, carpeting, He's done a bit of everything. He's my handyman for sure. You can find such great Home Improvement Advise at Home Depot. And with this Home Depot Card we would lack for nothing.
