I just love museums! All museums! Local museums, Natural History museums, Art museums. I would visit them all if I could. While we were at the Big Timbers Museum the other day inquiring about our Stone House I couldn't help but take a few pictures to show you what I was seeing.
I love anything old and even Hubby shares my enthusiasm for all things Victorian. Let me tell you I was tickled pink to see all the things in the museum that day. Though I didn't read all the notes for everything because I was too busy looking for anything that might pertain to our Stone House, I did read some of them.
There is a big display about a kidnapping, robbery and murder that took place in the area and about the capture of the criminals. But I didn't take photos of that.
There is an entire room devoted to the military and those who served with their uniforms and flags and equipment and the walls are lined with recruitment posters from WWI and WWII. I loved it. But I didn't take photos of that.
I did however take lots of photos to share with you of Organs, Jukeboxes, Desks, Clothing, China, Dolls, Photo Equipment, Arrow Heads. As a Colorado Museum it's one of the smaller ones but it is very interesting and I loved it! Enjoy!
